VA Studies: Part 2
Review of 4th Grade VA Studies: Part 1
During the third quarter, we will learn about important people, documents, and events in Virginia during the 20th and 21st centuries.
As the year progresses, your child will have information in the baggie in their binder that has great materials to use, but you can also just look back through the different sections of their binder, as well as their information from fourth grade (VA Studies Part 1).
Below are maps of the different areas we will study: the world (continents/oceans), the United States, and Virginia. Although we are mainly focused on VA, it's important that students are familiar with other areas of the world in order to have a complete understanding of the history of VA.
